Pakistan International Special Announcement
Checked baggage allowance to and from USA/Canada has been revised to 23 Kgs. per piece , two pieces per person allowed from August 1,2007, although the passengers ticketed till 31st July,2007 shall be allowed a baggage allowance of 28kg per piece. |

| Paperwork |
Overseas guest must have a letter of invitation attested by the Amir/President of the country. Please make sure you have this paperwork in order for Jalsa Management.
Currently (as of 8/31/2010) US citizens do not need to make special applications for visa, if they are staying for less than 6 months. Please inform the immigration officer that you are visiting for a religious conference and a visa will be granted on arrival.
In some cases, a visitor may need a visa prior to arrival and these visas are called "entry clearances". This would arise, for example, if the person has a criminal history or has been previously removed from the UK. |

Travelodge is a cheaper, cleaner alternative to higher end hotel chains. As of Jalsa 2010 the UK Jamaat has not arranged special rates with hotels for the Jalsa.
Self-catering accommodations for a family of 4 are starting at £100.00 (Flosies B&B)
Guests who travel from abroad and are unable to make their own accommodation arrangements will be accommodated in large Marquees at Jalsa site.
All private tents will be pitched in Islamabad and NOT in Jalsa site. A shuttle service will be provided between Islamabad & Jalsa site during three days of Jalsa. |

Usually held in the month of December in Qadian, India. Jalsa is held based on political circumstances of India and its neighboring countries. |

Delhi: Qadian is about 550 km from Delhi it takes about 5 hours by Train Shatab,and 6-10 hours by road. Cab fare is approximately 800-900 RS.
Wagah (Pakistan) to Attari (india) distance is about 3km During Jalsa time Khuddams on duty will help you to cross the border.
Batala: Qadian is 18 km east of Batala India Punjab
Amristar: Qadian is little over an hour drive from Amritsar
New Delhi: Qadian is 500km from New Delhi, it takes 6-10 hours by road |

Khuddam will receive and assist Jamaat members at New Delhi, Attari and Wagah during Jalsa days. |
